Thank God. Real adult leadership on the federal level. I was off from work today, so I got to watch
the Inauguration coverage all day long. It was wonderful. Mom and Aunt Linda and had a toast to freedom.

Second vaccine dose done - and no reaction. Yay! We still have to follow the NYS DOH guidelines tho,
which means getting tested twice a week now because of rising numbers.

Since I skipped December, I didn't mention that I got the first dose of the Covid vaccine. The second dose will be this coming Tuesday. CVS came in to where I work and set up a clinic for the staff and residents. No adverse reactions from anyone, and our residents who tested positive this week have had a very mild course of the infection, which is terrific news.
I had a crazy hot flash or something at work tonight. All of a sudden, I got lightheaded and diaphoretic all over, and felt like I was going to pass out. I sat down for twenty minutes with a cold washcloth on my face and neck, and survived. Please tell me they are few and far between.

I totally skipped December. Sorry 'bout that. Happy 2021. We made it six days before the shit hit the fan.
There was this coup/insurrection/confirmation of Electoral votes yesterday. I am so angry. Our country is angry. Right wing TERRORISTS - incited by the President - stormed the US Capitol and held up the Electoral process. And they see nothing wrong with that.
I'm also aching, hurting, tachy(cardic), short of breath, feeling old and tired. I made appointments with a cardiologist and a pulmonologist, for post-Covid followup.
And I bought a treadmill. I miss walking. My work hours get in the way of going walking after work, and also, it's Winter. It's cold. So I'll walk inside.
